shopHwy98.com

shopHwy98.com is a software framework for a modular business guide. Originally designed as a guide for a suburban thoroughfare, the concept could be easily modified to suit a small resort town or suburban township.
The guide itself provides useful data for every business within it's prescribed area. This data is current to within 30 days in order to surpass the value of any other common data source. As the most complete, current and extensive source of data for the target area, the guide will draw a loyal and sophisticated audience. Having such a targeted audience provides the businesses a focused, inexpensive and efficient way to reach their customer base. The businesses are offered the ability to extend their listing for a small monthly fee and as more businesses extend their participation, the guide becomes even more useful and in turn, more used.
The concept involves not only the presentation software, but also an extensive administration package with a focus on efficiency. The guide and its maintenance processes are designed to be manageable by a limited staff and in the case of a smaller territory, as few as one. Upon completion, the project will be expanded to additional territories as a corporate entity and may also be offered in a franchise situation.

Restaurant Menu Manager

Originally designed as a module for the shopHwy98 project, the restaurant menu manager package provides a versitile way for restaurants to create, manage and present their menus to an online audience. In addition, restaurants will be able to output their menus to a higher resolution .pdf document that can be taken to a printer or copy shop and output for dine-in use. Upon linking a territories restaurants together in a dining guide, the ability to search for types of food or even specific dishes will exist. Again, the software package is designed to be efficient and easy to use with only a minimum amount of time required to both create and maintain multiple menus.

alohaSurf.net is a beach cam website that provides local beach images and information to both a local and international audience. Having been online for nearly ten years, the site's proliferation is extensive and generates traffic from the entire planet. The sites primary purpose is to act as a testbed for new webcam technologies as well as generate traffic for other projects while offering a valuable resource to an audience with interests ranging from watersports to weather to travel.

Gallery Manager

Gallery Manager is a software module designed to create and manage web based photo galleries. Relying heavily on ColdFusion, javascript and Ajax, Gallery Manager's primary focus is on image presentation and combines form and function beautifully. The challenge has been making the management portion of the package as effective as the presentation portion.
