The RM7 is a low profile indoor/outdoor recessed ceiling mount dome housing. It features a 7" dome, which accommodates standard body fixed cameras up to 7.5" in length. The upper body is made of heavy 10-gauge aluminum, and a white powder coat cast trim ring gives the RM7 a clean, streamlined look. Unit is completely water and dust tight (IP66 rated) with optional heater/blower(s).

Architecture / Engineering Specifications

The vandal resistant recessed ceiling mount housing shall be a VIDEOLARM model RM7 or equivalent.
The back box shall be constructed from heavy 10-gauge aluminum and be capable of being installed in its entirety from below the ceiling.
The steel top will measure 6.75" (h) x 9.16" (d). The lower dome will be polycarbonate (1 F-stop light reduction for tinted lower dome).
The lower dome will be held in place by a die-cast aluminum trim ring (white powder coat finish).
The RM7 shall be designed to be installed in either sheetrock or hard ceiling surfaces.
Three rotating support arms will allow for adjustment to the ceiling material thickness.
The unit shall be fully sealed, designed to meet IP66 dirt/water ingress rating.

Designed for multi room sound distribution installations where individual speaker selection is not required. Impedance protection circuit allows up to eight sets of 8ohm speakers to be connected to a stereo amplifier, and appear as a 4ohm load.
